Climate

The climate in Morocco is famous for its Mediterranean makeup, which is really idyllic in most areas for what a normal Westerner would think of as 'holiday weather'. The weather can be slightly more varied and extreme in the more mountainous central region.

The coast and the plains located therein are well-suited for agricultural development and about 12% of Morocco is covered in forests, which is something that is a delightful surprise for most visitors and very different from their previous view of what the region is like.

The climate is one of the main attractions for visitors in Morocco. It is extremely varied with temperatures over 40C degrees Celsius in the summer and not dropping below 15C in the winter. As a result, Morocco is a fantastic place to live or visit throughout the years.
