Economy
Morocco is one of the top economic forces in Africa, its Gross Domestic Product being $34 billion. It is in the top five with other countries such as South Africa and Egypt. Needless to say, this would surprise most people, and that surprise factor is one of the things that has kept investment opportunities in the country such a relative secret. It is, unfortunately, a secret that is being discovered and exploited by more and more people.
While the largest industry in Morocco does remain phosphate mining, the fact is that tourism now ranks at third and is growing steadily all the time. In fact, the whole economy is primed to expand greatly, especially with the recent trade agreements.
